Use lower speed films if you plan on shooting during the day, 100 for bright sunny Texas days, 400 for normal days. Bracket (meaning shoot one at 0, one a stop under, and one a stop over) if you're trying to get that perfect shot. Otherwise, shoot from the hip (http://lomography.com/about/the-ten-golden-rules).
